Lessons Learned from FIFA for International Visitors Coming to the U.S. for the Olympics

The panel will discuss entry by international visitors coming to the U.S. for the Olympics. We will review key “lessons learned” from the 2026 Men’s World Cup to help inform entry planning for the LA28 Games. Topics include how and when to apply for a B visitor’s visa, what to expect during the U.S. consulate interview, whether ESTA may serve as an alternative for entry, how the U.S. ban affecting citizens of 40 countries might be addressed, and additional considerations to ensure a smooth arrival and compliance.
