You’re Invited: NCAA Women’s Final Four Kickoff With Sports Lawyers Association and Perkins Coie
Past, Present, Future: Building Better Pathways for Women Athletes
Join Arizona State University sports historian Victoria Jackson, co-director of the Great Game Lab, and Perkins Coie partner Kristie Beaudoin for a fireside chat exploring the evolution and future of U.S. women’s college sports.
This conversation will examine sports’ place in higher education, and how institutions can better serve student-athletes’ needs and interests. The discussion will then shift to the intersection of business and law: How policy and governance translate into compensation structures, name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities; and the overall college athlete experience. Discover how universities can navigate NIL reform, antitrust challenges and settlements, possible collective bargaining models, and Title IX mandates. They will also discuss practical frameworks for building sustainable college sports programs that serve student-athletes effectively—both today and across a 20-year horizon.
Space is limited, so kindly register today.
