We are excited to invite you to the 2026 Sports Lawyers Association (SLA) Annual Conference, taking place May 13–16, 2026 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk in Chicago, Illinois.

Our 2026 theme—Going Beyond the Game: Growing the Landscape of Sport—reflects the expanding influence of sports law in shaping the industry and society at large. Together, we’ll explore how legal professionals are driving innovation, equity, and growth across the global sports landscape.

REGULAR REGISTRATION: Regular membership in the Sports Lawyers Association shall include only attorneys who are licensed to practice law before the highest court of any jurisdiction.

ASSOCIATE REGISTRATION: An Associate is a person in the ordinary course of business that is affiliated with or has a legitimate interest in sports law and not actively engaged in practicing law.

*All non-member registration receives membership through 12/31/2026.

Registration Information:
Registration fees include all education sessions; CLE Credit; evening receptions on Thursday and Friday, networking luncheon on Friday, breakfasts on Friday and Saturday, and breaks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. SLA does not provide a refund if an attendee chooses not to participate in any of the functions included with their registration fees.

Guest Pass:
Registrants may register for a guest pass for $300 USD per person. The fee includes access to the Thursday and Friday evening Receptions, continental breakfast on Friday and Saturday, and the Friday lunch. The guest pass does not include access to educational sessions.

Cancellations:
  • All cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to melissa@pomerenemgmt.com
  • Prior to the 15th of April, 75% of the meeting registration fee will be refunded or full amount can be carried to 2027.
  • After the 15th of April, 75% of the registration fee can be carried over to 2027 and 25% of registration fee will be applied to admin fee
  • No telephone cancellations will be accepted. It will take a minimum of six (6) weeks to receive a refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows

Registration and attendance at the Sports Lawyers Association Conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the SLA's use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee's image or voice in photos, images, video, and/or audio recordings of such events without compensation or approval rights. All photos, images, and recordings are the property of SLA.

Conference Attire: The conference attire is business casual.
